Gastrointestinal Specialist

Ohio Hospital & Medical Centre, a multi-specialty hospital located in the region, currently operating with 100 beds and rapidly expanding, is seeking a highly qualified Gastroenterologist to join its growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic disorders, conducting diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures, including Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and Capsule Endoscopy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage complex gastroenterological cases, including viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver failure
• Provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and emergency gastroenterology services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (Surgery, Oncology, Critical Care, Radiology) for holistic patient management
• Participate in academic training programs, CMEs, and clinical quality improvement initiatives, promoting excellence in patient care and medical education
• Develop and maintain expertise in performing and interpreting endoscopic procedures, staying up-to-date with latest advancements in the field

Requirements:

• DM (Gastroenterology) degree from a recognized institute (mandatory)
• Strong expertise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, with a focus on diagnostic and therapeutic skills
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills, with a patient-first approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
