UI/UX Designer Job Description

This position involves designing user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications. The successful candidate will have experience in UI/UX design, preferably in R&D, and will be skilled in web programming, JavaScript, and React/Angular.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop a UI/UX design strategy
  • Work closely with scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into effective UI/UX designs.
  • Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for various applications used in laboratory, manufacturing, and enterprise environments.
  • Create responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements to ensure consistency with branding, design systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Integrate UI with APIs, RPA bots, and AI-driven workflows by working closely with backend developers, data scientists, and automation teams.
  • Design banners, communications, newsletters, and system report layouts.
  • Lead the redesign of websites and intranets.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in R&D.
  • Experience in web programming, JavaScript, and React/Angular.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with web and application design principles and an eye for aesthetics.
