**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a seasoned Production Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the production department, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth coordination of garment production, quality control, and delivery.

This role involves managing process enhancements, performance monitoring, and coordinating with teams to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Product Development: Source and select fabrics, trims, and accessories. Coordinate with Production Manager to develop samples, review and approve them ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Develop yearly and monthly production plans, allocate resources, ensure materials and resources are available for production, monitor progress, and proactively address any issues or delays.
  • Vendor Management: Identify and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors, ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of fabric and trims.
  • Costing and Budgeting: Prepare cost estimates for products, manage budgets, track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Quality Control: Establish quality standards, conduct inspections, work with production team to implement corrective actions.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, ensure timely replenishment of materials, manage stock levels to minimize excess inventory and reduce costs.
  • Production Coordination: Coordinate with various production departments, ensure smooth communication and workflow between teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Degree in textile engineering, fashion merchandising, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: More than 5 years of experience.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of textile and garment manufacturing processes, production management software and tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze production data and make informed decisions.
