Job Overview
A metal fabrication specialist is responsible for manufacturing and assembling various tools, industrial machinery, and machine components.
- Selecting cutting tools for machining operations using CNC or conventional lathes
- Maintaining equipment by performing routine maintenance on turning lathe and tools
- Ensuring quality by checking finished pieces to ensure compliance with technical drawings
- Cleaning work area, e.g. removing swarf / chips
