Seeking a Strategic Ecommerce Leader

  • We are on the hunt for an accomplished ecommerce expert to spearhead our online retail operations.
Job Responsibilities:
  • This is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, innovation, and a passion for driving growth through ecommerce channels.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to boost revenue, profitability, and market share in ecommerce.
  • This includes managing full P&L, crafting growth plans, forecasting demand, and overseeing inventory management.
  • An additional responsibility will be defining product-market fit, localizing hero SKUs, and adapting formulations to regional regulations and sensorial preferences.
  • The ideal candidate will also orchestrate 360° marketing efforts, negotiate with third-party logistics providers and payment partners, and establish data pipelines and dashboards.
  • This leadership role requires autonomy, independence, and the ability to contribute effectively to the team.
  • The selected candidate will present quarterly business reviews to global leadership, highlighting wins, risks, and next bets.
  • Benchmarking competition and delivering actionable intelligence on pricing, share-of-voice, and shelf velocity is also key in this role.
Requirements:
  • 10 to 17 years of relevant work experience in Retail industry (FMCG, Retail, E commerce)
  • Tier 1 colleges only. IIMs, XLRI, MDI, ISB etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical, data, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use information for reporting
