About the Role

A senior engineer with expertise in water process engineering, system planning and design is required for technical delivery of innovative, efficient and scalable water purification solutions across India and beyond.

This strategic position offers full lifecycle responsibility from conceptual engineering to installation and long-term operations & maintenance, collaborating closely with Swiss HQ teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the engineering and design of water purification systems ensuring compliance with local conditions and performance targets.
  • Develop detailed system plans, P&IDs, layouts and process workflows with input from HQ.
  • Oversee procurement, supplier engagement and assembly partner coordination to ensure high-quality execution and cost control.
  • Supervise installation, commissioning and technical handover of systems to operations teams or clients.
  • Take ownership of operations and maintenance strategies developing SOPs and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to integrate field learnings and continuously improve system performance.
  • Stay current on regulatory frameworks, certification standards and relevant technological advancements.
  • Support customer engagements by translating technical features into operational benefits.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in engineering designing and delivering water or process systems at scale.
  • Strong background in process engineering hydraulics filtration pumps and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan model and optimize complex water treatment processes.
  • Experience in managing technical suppliers fabrication partners and field installation teams.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent project planning documentation and execution skills.
  • Fluent in English professional level Hindi or other Indian languages are a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Water Process Engineering Environmental Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
