Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Controllership Manager to join our team at Amazon. This role will be responsible for owning the last mile delivery of SOX 302 quarterly attestations, driving continuous improvement and standardization of processes, and providing advisory on Controllership related matters to Payroll partners.
Responsibilities
- Owning audits deliveries with internal and external stakeholders.
- Driving deep dives on process areas to define the set of risks and required controls for payroll operations.
- Providing ongoing support to process owners/control owners and cross-functional teams to ensure controls are designed and implemented effectively.
- Performing risk assessments and process inspections aiming at proactive risk identification. Recommending risk-mitigation actions and following up on their completion.
Requirements
- 6+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
- 6+ years of controls/audit/compliance/SOX roles experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or CPA.
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
- MBA, or CPA.
