Highway Design Technician

We are seeking a skilled Highway Design Technician to join our team. As a Highway Design Technician, you will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and schematics for highway projects.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of C3D tools is essential.
  • Experience with highway projects in the domestic sector is required, while experience in ANZ/ASIA/Middle East/UK/USA projects is desirable.

As a successful Highway Design Technician, you will have:

  • Several years' experience working within the engineering and design sector, preferably with a background in highways, aviation, and drainage.
  • Experience with CAD layouts for highway projects.
  • Working knowledge of BIM and drawing processes.
  • Proficiency in the use of CAD/BIM software, particularly AutoCAD and Navisworks.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. You will also have the ability to plan work to make optimum use of time and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma - Civil Draftsman
  • 3 yrs. – Diploma (Civil engineering) or degree preferred

Experience

  • 8 to 16 years proven experience on infrastructure projects and detail design of Highways and drainage with BIM/modelling skills.
