Solutions Expert - Secure Software Development

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant to support our application security portfolio. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will work closely with Sales, Services, and Product Management teams to deliver effective solutions for AppScan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and workshops for AppScan.
  • Prepare responses for technical sections of RFIs/RFPs and address customer queries.
  • Guide customers in adopting AppScan within secure software development lifecycle practices.
  • Partner with Sales, Services, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Build reusable technical assets (presentations, demo scripts, FAQs).
  • Conduct partner enablement workshops and provide technical guidance for channel engagements.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and application security best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in application security or enterprise software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies (DAST, SAST, SCA, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash).
  • Experience with AppScan or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and secure coding practices.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.

  • Location: Ballari, IN
  • Primary Product Focus: AppScan (on-premises and cloud)
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 25–30% within IN (primarily customer meetings and partner sessions)
