Key Position:

As a senior data specialist, you will be tasked with establishing the framework for our company’s analytics department. This involves designing and implementing scalable data pipelines that facilitate real-time insights into global maritime operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data engineering principles and experience working with cloud-based data services. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively are also essential in this role.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines using SQL, PySpark, and Airflow
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data infrastructure
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of team processes

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong foundation in data engineering principles
  • Experience with cloud-based data services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools
