Job Summary">

We are seeking a seasoned shift engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of technical services during their assigned shift duty.

  • Manage and maintain electromechanical and utility services at the site, working closely with the technician team.
  • Develop and implement planned preventive maintenance (PPM) strategies to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential risks and defects, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Review and provide guidance on the work of subordinate staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee the documentation and tracking of assets under defect liability period and AMC/CAMC contracts.
  • Hire, train, and develop shift engineers and maintenance staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Formulate and monitor budgeting controls, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintain service level agreements and track performance indicator scores, striving for excellence in all aspects of the role.
  • Ensure timely renewal of agreements, submission of invoices, and follow-up on payments.
  • Oversee vendor quotations and invoices, ensuring accurate processing and payment.
  • Coordinate attendance sign-offs and cost sheet submissions, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
  • Submit client-approved cost sheets to the JLL office and follow up on invoice processing.
  • Schedule monthly vendor meetings to discuss daily matters and address any concerns or issues.
  • Implement energy conservation strategies to reduce waste and optimize resource usage.
  • Prepare monthly readings sheets with occupants and ensure all check-sheets and logbooks are filled properly.
  • Maintain equipment history cards and track performance metrics.
  • Respond to major complaints and escalate to senior management as needed, coordinating with technical staff to resolve issues.
  • Ensure work permits are in place and safe working practices are followed at all times.
  • Collaborate with Property Managers/Assistant Property Managers/Technical Managers to conduct risk assessments and mitigate inherent risks.
  • Create corrective, preventive, and emergency response action plans to address system failures and breakdowns.
  • Participate in evacuation drills and join the ERT/QRT team to ensure seamless response in emergency situations.
  • Maintain engineering and other reports, such as DMR and MMR, to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with regional RO/HO/SME/training teams to close required reports and ensure seamless communication.
