Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead our team in designing and implementing efficient DevOps processes using Jenkins and Cloud Build in the Google Cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in streamlining development, deployment, and integration processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Cloud Build
  • Integrate various development tools and processes to create a seamless workflow
  • Ensure the security and scalability of deployment processes
  • Provide documentation and training to the team to support new processes

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our DevOps team to build, test, and maintain infrastructure. You will collaborate with program leads and technology architects across global locations to plan cloud capacity for data lakes, design and develop Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) Pipeline components, and work with development teams to promote DevOps adoption.

Requirements

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering
  • Hands-on experience in GCP Cloud, including cloud infrastructure, security, monitoring, and scalability
  • Knowledge of cloud concepts, networking, security, monitoring, DR, scalability, high availability
  • Experience in setting up cloud infrastructure, security, monitoring for enterprise applications
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services, including Vertex AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Build
  • Working with source control systems, troubleshooting build/deploy pipelines, and implementing CI/CD practice for data analytics services
  • Good knowledge of Continuous Integration and associated tools, such as Maven, Jenkins, Sonar
  • Experience in provisioning GCP infrastructure, supporting infrastructure and applications running on GCP cloud environment
  • Experience with microservices and distributed applications, containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology

Mandatory Skills

  • GCP - Vertex AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Build
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, any scripting language (Shell Script, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Ruby, Perl)

Good to Have Skills

  • GCP Associate or Professional Certifications, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
