Quality Assurance Lead Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Lead to spearhead our quality assurance processes across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance and experience in leading teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA Engineers, guiding them through end-to-end quality assurance processes.
  • Owning quality assurance processes, plan, define & execute test strategies (Manual + UAT + Usability + Compatibility Testing).
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams & clients, fostering strong relationships and driving project success.
  • Track, manage, and close bugs using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Build and manage automation frameworks, leveraging technology to enhance testing efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years in Software QA (manual testing and Automation testing), with expertise in User Acceptance Testing and client coordination.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with hands-on experience in bug tracking tools and reporting metrics.
  • Prior experience in leading teams and delivering high-quality releases, with knowledge of automation tools like Selenium as a plus.
