Job Role: Chess Coach

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chess Coach to lead our chess lessons and coaching sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct one-to-one and group coaching sessions for students of varying skill levels.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans and training materials that cater to different learning styles.
  • Prepare students for competitive chess tournaments and provide guidance on strategy and technique.
  • Monitor student progress, offer constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • FIDE rating is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in teaching or coaching chess is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of chess theory and strategies is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective coaching.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and chess software is desirable.
