SAP Basis Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance on all aspects of SAP Basis administration.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement, upgrade, and migrate SAP systems, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Design and implement SAP architecture, particularly for S/4Hana, SAP HANA, or NW JAVA.
  • Develop and maintain ABAP and Java-based solutions, leveraging hands-on experience in system development.
  • Manage client administration, including client copy, deletion, and creation, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, manage user administration, and configure transport management using TMS.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SAP systems, analyze short dumps, and provide expert-level support for complex issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP releases, patches, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-10 years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration, with a strong focus on implementation, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Hands-on experience with ABAP and Java, as well as knowledge of other SAP applications like BOBJ BI, BODS, Content Server, Open Text, and Convergent Charging.
  • Sound knowledge of databases such as HANA, Sybase (ASE), DB2, and MSSQL, with an understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
