Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned Java Backend Developer to join our team of skilled engineers. As a key member of our backend squad, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust RESTful APIs and backend services using Java.

Our team utilizes Java as the primary language, along with Spring Boot and Kafka Streams, to build scalable and efficient services. If you're passionate about building innovative payment-related products and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services using Java.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 3-4 years of Java experience.
  • Strong programming knowledge in Java 8 and above.
  • Experience in software application development using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, and RESTful services.
  • Strong experience with SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Redis).
  • Experience in using Distributed Caching solutions (Redis/Memcached/HazelCast).
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Ability to write well-designed, testable, efficient, secure code, ideally following a test-driven approach.
