Job Title: Senior JavaScript AQA Engineer

Overview

Luxoft is seeking a passionate and innovative QA Automation Engineer to support the development of cutting-edge applications. As a key member of an Agile team, you will utilize the Microsoft Visual Studio ecosystem, GitHub, and Atlassian stack to test applications.

You will be responsible for elaborating test plans and test cases with well-documented scenarios for new frontend web applications and REST APIs. This includes ensuring high test coverage according to industry best practices. You will also develop automated scripts with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Cypress, and perform manual testing as needed.

Your tasks will include participating in requirement gathering with the development team to identify optimal solutions for new applications and their services. Additionally, you will elaborate technical documentation on performed work according to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation using known software testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cypress, and Postman.
  • A deep understanding of QA and development methodologies, basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, and good coding skills in JavaScript are essential.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems, CI/CD pipelines, and web automation testing is also required.
