About this position:

Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned automation expert to spearhead our Python automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automating tests, maintaining frameworks, developing solutions, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of automation specialists, focusing on delivering high-quality applications
  • Gain a deep understanding of the application/domain, take ownership of an application from a QA perspective, and develop robust test automation scripts
  • Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts with exceptional quality in a Python-based automated test framework
  • Analyze automation execution failures in our end-to-end CI/CD system, identify insights on software quality
  • Broaden your understanding of the product/application and proactively identify areas for improving product quality through automation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • 6-8 years of experience
  • Strong expertise in Python programming with Object-Oriented Programming methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and lead a small technical team
  • Experience with web/mobile application UI automation and related tools/packages (e.g., Selenium/Appium)

Self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive in suggesting innovative solutions and constructive feedback.
