Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead our structural design projects in the Food & Beverage industry. This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional with 10-15 years of experience in managing scope, budget, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the structural design of projects including analysis and design of superstructures and foundations for industrial facilities, steel, and concrete buildings.
- Technical Expertise: You will review geotechnical reports, equipment vendor drawings, and fabrication drawings as a technical advisor, providing expert guidance and support.
- Team Development & Management: As a leader, you will mentor engineers, provide training, assist in manpower planning, hiring, and performance appraisals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Coordination & Quality: You will coordinate with other disciplines, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clash-free system design and adherence to QA/QC processes, maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence.
- Communication & Reporting: You will prepare and present project budgets and cost estimates, reporting on project performance and providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, and a Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a significant advantage.
- Experience: A minimum of 10-15 years of working experience with a strong preference for EPC project experience.
- Skills:
- Technical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to produce accurate work.
- Interpersonal: Dynamic personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills and people management skills.
