Job Summary

This is a remote position that requires a skilled Graphic Designer to support the delivery of messages and initiatives by incorporating well-designed graphics into communication strategies and activities.

The Graphic Designer will provide creative design and layout services for publications and other communications materials, including printed, digital, and online products, as well as animated graphics. The Designer will produce products based on the content and guidance provided by the hiring unit, ensuring effective conveyance of textual content to target audiences while complying with branding and style guides.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Transform text-based communications materials into visual graphic design materials, such as infographics, brochures, backdrops, etc.
  • Develop designs for communication materials based on assignment briefs.
  • Provide recommendations on the best and most relevant visual design style and materials suitable for the project's target audience.
  • Examples of deliverables include project brochures, project infographics, project factsheets, project leaflets, project posters, visuals for social media campaigns, layout design for project and annual reports, and design for project communications collaterals.
  • Custom photo editing, including restoration, noise reduction, and tonal adjustment.
Essential Skills
  • University degree (bachelor's degree) in Industrial Art, Graphic Design, or diploma on completion of a training course on professional graphic design.
  • Certificate on Product is mandatory.
  • A minimum of five years of experience working as a graphic designer in a multicultural international environment.
  • At least five products designed for Government Agencies or International Development Agencies.
  • Strong graphic design skills, including mastery of standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or other industry-standard tools.
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout design, and image editing.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to deliver projects within assigned deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and objectivity.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team structure in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.

Statement of Health

The selected contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance coverage as stated in the Statement of Health herewith attached prior to contract signature.
