Job Title:

Senior Software Application Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Software Application Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications on various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality software applications that meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot software application issues and implement fixes.
  • Perform unit testing and integration testing of software applications.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure software applications meet quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in C++ programming language with experience in feature development.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Android/Embedded Linux programming, preferably in the Android Framework and Android Middleware (JNI and native layers).
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Java programming experience.
  • Knowledge and exposure to Mobile Android architecture.
  • Experience in NFC, Payment, and Electronic ID applications using smart cards, Global Platform, and Java Card.
Responsibilities:
  • Independent contributor for all areas of the Android middleware stack, proposing solutions, and driving them to closure.
  • Work closely with the Architect to understand functional and performance requirements.
  • Manage deliverables independently to align with project goals and cross-functional coverage.
  • Debug and resolve system-wide issues independently.
  • Perform Unit testing of independent features, develop test cases, and assist in release testing.
