Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced hydraulic engineer to contribute to the development of innovative hydraulics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hydraulic System Design: Utilize Creo to design and develop efficient hydraulic systems.
  • Component Placement & Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hydraulic components into larger systems.
  • Schematic Interpretation & Troubleshooting: Analyze and interpret hydraulic schematics to identify and resolve design issues.
  • Prototype Development & Testing: Support prototype development and on-machine testing to validate hydraulic component performance.
  • Design Calculations & Validation: Perform detailed design calculations to ensure hydraulic system efficiency and reliability.
  • Bolted Joint Optimization: Apply finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize bolted joint design and performance.
  • Quality Management: Implement quality management principles, including APQP, GD&T, and bill of materials (BOM) management.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with global teams and suppliers to support new product introduction (NPI) and aftermarket activities.

Requirements:

  • Design Expertise: Proven expertise in hydraulics system design, development, and implementation.
  • Creo Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Creo and understanding of hydraulic schematics.
  • Material Properties & Manufacturing Knowledge: Knowledge of material properties, hose fittings, and manufacturing processes.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive innovation and improvement.
