Program Buyer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Buyer to join our team at HELLA India Automotive Pvt Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring high-quality electronic components for our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineering graduate in Mechanical/Electronics stream with 5-8 years of experience in an Automotive OEM's / Tier1 in a Purchase / Buyer role.

• Basic knowledge of products, such as ECUs, Control Modules, Controllers, EMS, Connectivity devices, Sensors.

• Key Manufacturers and their Costing Knowledge of Mechanical, Electronics and Electrical components, like Plastics, Metal, Diecasting, Mechanic Hybrids and PCB.

• Experience in M-BOM and E-BOM costing.

• Ability to handle escalations on delivery, quality, and cost in the interest of internal customers.

• Strong negotiation skills with knowledge of manufacturing processes and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with global matrix teams.

Requirements:

• Engineering graduate in Mechanical/Electronics stream with 5-8 years of experience in an Automotive OEM's / Tier1 in a Purchase / Buyer role.

• Knowledge of SAP MM module is a must.

• Project Management skills are desired.
