We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to join our institution as a Professor/Director of the School of Banking, Financial Services & Insurance Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets industry standards in banking, financial services, and insurance management.\
  • Conduct research and publish papers in reputable journals.\
  • Cultivate partnerships with industry experts to provide students with hands-on experience.\
  • Mentor students to achieve academic excellence.\
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into the curriculum.\
  • Collaborate with faculty members to enhance teaching and learning.\
  • Manage resources effectively to achieve departmental goals.\
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.\
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote the school's reputation.\
  • Prepare and manage budgets to support departmental activities.\
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures.\
  • Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and a passion for teaching and research.\
  • Other duties as assigned by the Dean or other senior administrators.\

Qualifications:

  • \
  • Master's degree in Finance or equivalent with a PhD in Financial Management.\
  • First-class honors at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.\
  • A minimum of 15 years of teaching experience.\
  • Proven leadership and management skills.\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.\
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.\
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.\
  • Passion for teaching, research, and community engagement.\
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.\
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are an asset.\
