The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Snaphunt. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the telecom sector, expanding its outreach globally.

The Role

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Identify and develop new customers to expand our reach in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and upsell/cross-sell potential within existing customers.
  • Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales follow-up to maximize share of wallet.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs to drive business success.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and monitor market trends to provide regular competitor feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for new business development through lead generation and research on target clients.
  • Meet potential clients to understand their needs and provide relevant solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Manage the sales process to close new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets to drive business success.
  • Build the sales funnel by generating leads through cold calling, emailing, and other lead generation activities.
  • Handle incoming queries and build good client relationships to drive business growth.
  • Ensure all leads are well qualified by identifying the correct decision makers and understanding their requirements.
  • Hand over qualified leads to the sales teams to close the sale and maintain and update the lead generation database.

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 1 year of experience in B2B sales, account management, or a related field, preferably in the telecom sector.
  • A proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and a strong understanding of the sales process.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of inside sales, business development, software sales, IT sales, and solution sales.
  • A self-starter with a high level of resilience and a strong networker with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Highly goal-driven and able to work well in fast-paced environments.
