The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Snaphunt. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the telecom sector, expanding its outreach globally.
The Role
- Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Identify and develop new customers to expand our reach in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and upsell/cross-sell potential within existing customers.
- Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales follow-up to maximize share of wallet.
- Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs to drive business success.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and monitor market trends to provide regular competitor feedback.
- Identify opportunities for new business development through lead generation and research on target clients.
- Meet potential clients to understand their needs and provide relevant solutions to drive sales growth.
- Manage the sales process to close new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing clients.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets to drive business success.
- Build the sales funnel by generating leads through cold calling, emailing, and other lead generation activities.
- Handle incoming queries and build good client relationships to drive business growth.
- Ensure all leads are well qualified by identifying the correct decision makers and understanding their requirements.
- Hand over qualified leads to the sales teams to close the sale and maintain and update the lead generation database.
The Ideal Candidate
- At least 1 year of experience in B2B sales, account management, or a related field, preferably in the telecom sector.
- A proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and a strong understanding of the sales process.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of inside sales, business development, software sales, IT sales, and solution sales.
- A self-starter with a high level of resilience and a strong networker with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Highly goal-driven and able to work well in fast-paced environments.
