Senior Web Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to play a vital role in shaping the future of the steel manufacturing industry. As a key member of our global business and technologies division, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects.

The ideal candidate will have over 3-4 years of experience in web application development and maintenance, with a strong background in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, HTML, CSS, and Ajax. Proficiency in databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB is also essential.

Your responsibilities will include developing, testing, and maintaining web applications, creating and managing REST APIs, and implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms. You will work effectively in an Agile environment, utilizing project management tools like JIRA and version control systems like Git.

In addition to your technical skills, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you have experience working with e-commerce, education, and social media applications, or have knowledge of ITIL, SOX/ITGC principles, that would be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using technologies such as Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, PHP, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Ajax
  • Create and manage REST APIs for mobile and web applications
  • Work on the development and maintenance of admin panels, customer portals, and service provider applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, certificate creation, validation, and API integration
  • Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Utilize project management tools like JIRA and version control systems like Git
Requirements:
  • BE / BTech/ Any Master's Degree
  • Over 3-4 years of experience in web application development and maintenance
  • Proficiency in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, HTML, CSS, and Ajax
  • Strong knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Experience with web servers like Apache and Nginx
  • Familiarity with development tools like PyCharm, VS Code, Postman, and Sublime
  • Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and MVC architecture
  • Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with the software development life cycle
