Estimator Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Estimator. This individual will be responsible for analyzing customer-provided Request for Proposals (RFP) documents, developing comprehensive estimates and bid preparation templates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate estimates.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze RFPs to gain a thorough understanding of project scope, response requirements, specifications, schedule, and customer objectives.
  • Develop tailored estimate and bid preparation templates using expert-level proficiency in Excel.
  • Create cost breakdowns, high-level schedules, risk registers, preliminary resource plans, and populate customer bid pricing forms and sheets for RFP submittals.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather necessary project information and ensure accurate estimates.
  • Conduct analysis and research to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Presents estimates effectively and addresses inquiries as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in estimating within the broadband, telecom, or outside plant industry.
  • Expertise in Excel with the ability to develop complex spreadsheets and models.
  • Self-motivated individual with a passion for the industry and drive for excellence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
