Job Title

As a Vendor Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for developing a detailed understanding of digital solutions applicable to the vehicle architecture function.

You will facilitate configuration of OOTB digital solutions and refinement of processes in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present business case for customizations post discussions with relevant stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison between vendor/platform/SI to guarantee high-quality deliverables and adherence to project standards
  • Identify and address potential risks/bottle necks ensuring project adherence to timelines through effective mitigation strategies and stakeholder coordination
  • Sign off on UATs for finalized vendor soln/roll out ensure sign off of business processes from respective functional leaders and sponsors
  • Ensure effective user training evaluate system performance and incorporate user feedback to drive digital solution adoption across users
  • Document issues associated learnings and best-practices for applicable vendor digital solutions to enable continuous process improvements

Requirements:

  • 8 years of core Auto engineering experience in automotive industry with exposure to vehicle design manufacturing system integration or allied manufacturing sectors
  • Experience of working in more than one Systems team
  • 8 years of demonstrated leadership experience in spearheading implementation projects successfully
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse organizational domains

Industry Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Automotive/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering/Computer Science/Mechatronics or a related field

General Requirements:

  • Expertise in using E-M-CAD tools e.g. - CATIA/Capital H/OrCad/NX/AutoCAD etc.
  • Proficiency in using tools e.g. - A2MAC1/ICEBERG and in-depth expertise in vehicle benchmarking
  • Proficiency in implementing and using concept and schematic simulation tools like SIMULIA/SIMCENTER etc.
  • Understand problem solve multidomain mechanical/electrical/software trade-offs to arrive at optimal architecture
  • Knowledge and know-how of vehicle systems and related integrations
