We are seeking an experienced SRE Manager to join our team in Pune.

Estimated Salary: ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum

The successful candidate will have 12-15 years of experience working in global organizations with a strong engineering background and excellent communication skills.

About the Role:

This is a leadership role that requires collaboration and change management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with incident management tools, observability tools, automation tools, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the SRE team to design, create, and support automation using PowerShell, Python, Ruby, AWK, and SED.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Maintaining relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Graduate or Post-Graduate with a strong engineering background.
  • 10+ years of experience working in global organizations.
  • 5+ years of SRE experience with telemetry, observation, self-healing solutions, and platform automation.
  • Proficient in analyzing complex technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions under pressure.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging & telemetry tools like New Relic, Splunk, ELK, Nagios, Prometheus, AWSCloudWatch, Datadog, etc.
  • Experience in Disaster Recovery, Chaos Engineering with tools like Chaos Mesh and Chaos Monkey and periodically testing resiliency and failovers.
  • Hand-on experience in the monitoring of Exposure with automation and tools such as (but not limited to) GitlabCI, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Expert in designing, creating and supporting Automation (PowerShell, Python, Ruby, AWK, SED, etc.) to run health-checks and self-healing capabilities for the platforms.
  • Experience with Networking, Content Delivery Networks (CDN, e.g. Akamai, Cloudflare), streaming platform technologies, like Apache Kafka and Databases: (Oracle, MS SQL, etc.).
  • Application Security, the practice of safeguarding application through access control, Authn & Authz, data encryption, secure communication using TLS/SSL and MTLS.
  • Collaboration & Change Management tools: Jira, ServiceNow, SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience in managing relationships with third-party vendors and service providers contributing to the business.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to additional modern programming languages like Go, Node.js, Python.
  • Event driven architecture & messaging middleware like AMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS.
  • Caching middleware like Terracotta, BigMemory, Redis, Hazlecast and Ignite.
  • Ai / Machine Learning to help perform tasks that typically require human intelligence or improve their performance through experience and data-driven algorithms, respectively.
  • Data analytics like building data pipelines, data processing, ETL.
  • Experience of working within the Betting and Gaming Industry.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Builds effective working relationships.
  • Analytical thinking: Thinks critically, providing well-reasoned insights through a commercial lens.
  • Sets direction: Contributes to a clear direction for the business.
  • Agility: Quickly adapts and remains flexible while managing risks.
