Job Description:

eInfochips, a leading global provider of product engineering and semiconductor design services, is seeking a DevOps expert to join its team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure and services within a managed service environment.

Additionally, they will manage deployments in various environments, including QA, Stage, and Production, while adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key responsibilities include building, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters through automation, instituting infrastructure as code, security, and process automation, and automating routine maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS, Kubernetes orchestration, and EKS, as well as proficiency in scripting languages and CI/CD pipelines.

They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence customer outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience working on AWS, Kubernetes Orchestration, and EKS
  • 6+ years of production environment experience
  • Experience with infra-automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Proficiency in Linux environment and at least one scripting language
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, or ArgoCD
  • Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools such as Datadog, Instana, Grafana, Splunk, PagerDuty, Pingdom, and Cloud Watch
  • Good understanding of DevOps and cloud operation processes, Agile Release Processes, and L2/L3 Ticketing processes
  • Experience with source control and management tools like Git
