Job Role

As a Guest Relations Associate, you will be the face of our hospitality brand, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team will make you an asset to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with check-in and checkout processes, handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Review arrival lists and prepare compendiums prior to guests' arrival, updating the system as necessary.
  • Welcome guests on arrival, register them, and issue room keys according to our departmental standards and procedures.
  • Ensure that repeat guests and other VIPs receive special recognition and service, preparing and sending welcome cards and amenities to their rooms prior to arrival.
  • Liaise closely with other relevant departments to ensure that guests' requests and needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Update and maintain repeat guest history systems, providing valuable insights for future interactions.
  • Promote Inter-Hotel sales and in-house facilities according to departmental standards, maximizing revenue and driving business growth.
  • Handle guests' complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently, resolving issues to their satisfaction.
  • Manage guests' mail, messages, and phone calls, maintaining confidentiality and upholding our high standards of customer service.
  • Be vigilant regarding in-house credit matters and alert Security or Duty Managers to any suspicious activity or discrepancies.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Tourism or Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
  • Good communication and customer contact skills
  • Service-oriented with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
  • Self-motivated and energetic, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
