About the RoleThe Senior Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for overseeing operational risks and conducting controls for the Front Office Business Line. As part of our First Line of Defense, you will identify and mitigate potential breaches and ensure that our processes are compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing control analysis and mitigation
- Implementing corrective actions in response to identified failures
- Executing cases to ensure compliance with regulatory or internal requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in front office risk management, including control risk analysis and mitigation
- Expert knowledge of capital markets instruments and financial regulations (e.g., Dodd-Frank Act, Volcker Rule, FATCA)
- Understanding of various lines of defense and their roles
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and remediate risks using scenario-based approaches
