Job Description

Kroll is seeking an experienced professional to join their Portfolio Valuation Advisory Services team in the US office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the global valuation practice, working on high-profile engagements for clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong client relationships through exceptional service and a deep understanding of client needs
  • Developing technical expertise in valuation, serving as a resource for that expertise and sharing knowledge through training and mentoring
  • Team management and leadership
  • Managing client engagements from initial interaction to timely completion
  • Project management, including client interviewing, engagement economics, team management, report writing, research, and market tracking
  • Model building and reviewing, with experience in DCF models, comparable company models, stock option models, financial instruments, and loan valuations
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 6-9 years of experience in valuation-related work in financial services
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent (e.g., CFA); or an MBA from an accredited college/university
  • Proven technical skills, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth technical knowledge in corporate finance, valuation methods, and accounting
  • Experience working with investment firms, end clients, PV/VC firms, and infrastructure funds
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing client relationships and mentoring staff
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, comfortable speaking with senior management and presenting to audiences
  • Ability to manage confidential information
