Job Title: Data Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous data assurance specialist to conduct comprehensive testing of ETL processes.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience in testing, with a strong focus on data accuracy, integrity, and completeness. The successful applicant will design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies for ETL workflows, ensuring thorough testing and defect resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct data validation, complex query writing, and data manipulation using SQL.
  • Work with Unix/Linux environments for scripting, log analysis, and file system navigation related to ETL processes.
  • Apply knowledge of Agile concepts and methodologies within the testing lifecycle.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience with relevant operating systems, programming languages, and database tools pertinent to testing.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how Quality Assurance methodology integrates into it.
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive attitude, constantly seeking opportunities to add value.
  • Collaborate effectively with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough testing and defect resolution.
Problem Solving & Adaptability:
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in testing trading platforms or similar complex software will be highly valued.
