Network Operations Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Operations Manager to lead our technical operations team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data center networking with expertise in Software Defined Networking (SDN) specifically in private cloud & virtualization domain.

This is a leadership role that requires the ability to design, implement, maintain, and manage Cloud Network Infrastructure including physical and SDN network framework. It also involves ensuring high availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of Network Engineers, providing technical guidance, and evaluating team member performance. They must also be able to monitor key performance metrics and trends to assess risks and business impact.

A bonus attribute for this position is hands-on expertise on CloudStack networking.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, implement, maintain, and manage Cloud Network Infrastructure including physical and SDN network framework.
  2. Ensure high availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining SLA.
  3. Maintain, audit, review, and update infrastructure documentation.
  4. Collaborate with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  5. Oversee a team of Network Engineers, provide technical guidance, and evaluate team member performance.
  6. Monitor key performance metrics and trends to assess risks and business impact.
  7. Develop and deliver technical proposals for cloud network infrastructure.
  8. Manage technical validation activities including Proof Of Concept.
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Data Center networks with L2/L3 technologies.
  • Fundamentals of WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching, QoS, Network monitoring Protocols & Tools, and SDN Technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, project management, and completion of complex network tasks.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people.

Bonus attributes include hands-on expertise on CloudStack networking.
