Senior Data Engineer

Our organization seeks a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to lead our Enterprise Data & Analytics team.

  • Architect and design complex data pipelines using Databricks, Azure Data Services, and Apache Kafka.
  • Develop scalable data solutions utilizing Python, PySpark, and distributed computing frameworks.
  • Maintain high-quality data standards by ensuring timely, accurate, and complete information.
  • Design and maintain enterprise-grade data models using star and snowflake schemas.
  • Write and review advanced SQL queries, including CTEs, aggregations, and complex joins.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
  • Advocate for documentation, metadata management, and data governance best practices.
  • Guide the development of Power BI and Sigma Computing dashboards and semantic models.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Databricks.

This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive best practices in data engineering, architecture, and governance.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Mentoring junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Integrating data from relational (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) sources.
  • Leading integration efforts with Informatica Cloud Platform, including Customer 360 and Reference 360.
  • Architecting and implementing real-time data ingestion using event-driven patterns.
  • Utilizing GitHub for source control, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
