Job Title: Digital Asset Specialist

Description:

Auditing digital assets prior to delivery is a crucial part of this role. Ensuring accuracy and quality in metadata, troubleshooting errors, and delivering assets efficiently are key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of digital or content errors/bugs pertaining to audio, video, subtitles, and closed captions.

Familiarity with various digital workflows like transcoding, watermarking, and a thorough understanding of Audio & Video codecs are essential skills.

Strong English communication and writing skills are required for this position. Experience with FCP and Adobe Premiere is an added advantage.

Basic experience in Quality Check of digital assets is necessary for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit and create metadata (xlsx, csv, xml) and troubleshoot errors in them.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge about digital or content errors/bugs pertaining to audio, video, subtitles, closed captions, etc.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Audio & Video codecs, including knowledge of audio configurations (5.1, 7.1 & stereo), video properties (aspect ratio, frame rate, bit rate, etc.), and issues like interlacing, aliasing, macro blocking, dropped/repeated frames, audio/video hits and/or drops, etc.
  • Familiarize yourself with various digital workflows like transcoding, watermarking, etc.
  • Be skilled in Microsoft Office (specially MS-Excel). Mac-OS experience is an added advantage.
  • Maintain strong English communication and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with FCP and Adobe Premiere would be an added advantage (not mandatory).
  • Have basic experience on Quality Check of digital assets.
