Project Manager: Train Systems Commissioning

The role of the Project Manager for Train Systems Commissioning is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of train systems that meet customer expectations while adhering to quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) requirements. The manager will be responsible for overseeing all activities required to achieve customer acceptance, including serial testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define train acceptance criteria in alignment with contractual commitments.
  • Lead Go/No-Go decisions at key project milestones.
  • Ensure all test documentation meets project and customer expectations.
  • Interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation, RAMS, and Quality to ensure testability and issue resolution.

The Project Manager will also be responsible for coordinating internal and external stakeholders for customer acceptance milestones, ensuring QCD and EHS compliance within the Testing & Commissioning Work Package, and capturing and managing non-conformities, deviations, and near-miss events.

Requirements:
  • Mandatory:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical/Control/Network systems in rail or process industries.
  • 2+ years in Test Engineering (TC Methods).
  • Fluent in English.

This role requires strong leadership and decision-making abilities, a deep understanding of electrical/mechanical systems, excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, as well as strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
