Job Overview:

AADC is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing long-term relationships with clients, and contributing to the company's strategic vision in the interior design and manufacturing sector.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in Architecture & Interior Design industry and an emphasis on Corporate real estate sector. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, design, and delivering high-quality solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Architecture & Interior Design sector, focusing on key industries like commercial, hospitality, retail, healthcare & education.
    • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their unique requirements and offering tailored solutions.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and initial consultation to contract negotiation and project handover.
    • Collaborate closely with internal design, production, and project management teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients' needs are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Market Research & Strategy:
    • Research, study & Analyse market trends and emerging opportunities in the target segments.
    • Present a regular MIS update to the company leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate / Bachelor's degree in Business, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in business development or sales within the interior furniture and fitout industry, ideally with experience in commercial, residential, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle in interior fitouts and furniture manufacturing.
  • Established network within the design, architecture, or construction industries is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client relations.
