Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer - Accounts and Compliance to join our team at Corenza. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective management of all financial aspects, including accounts payable, credit card programs, and vendor invoice accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Ensure the claims submitted by employees are verified to ensure adherence to internal policies. Develop and run employee communication relevant to employer reimbursement to educate employees on policies and influence timely submission of claims.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Function: Manage the AP function to enhance stakeholder experience and efficiency of operations. Identify and initiate process improvements in the AP function.
  • Expense Accounting: Ensure completeness and accuracy of expense accounting. Undertake expenses ledger scrutiny, handle month-end activities, manage accruals and provisions, and prepare balance sheet reconciliations for relevant ledger accounts.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance to direct taxation, indirect taxation, MSME, labor laws, FEMA, Customs, or any other relevant statues and minimize tax credit loss.
  • Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Adhere to internal controls and suggest ways to strengthen risk mitigation and compliance processes.
  • Fixed Asset Accounting: Manage and account for fixed assets in line with group policies and accounting standards.
  • Team Management: Manage and motivate a team towards achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Support internal and external auditors, tax teams, and other government assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting Standards: Basic understanding of Indian accounting standards.
  • Taxation: Basic understanding of direct and indirect taxation (GST & TDS).
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of corporate accounting functions and expert in MS Excel.
  • Educational Qualification: CA/ICWAI semi-qualified / MBA/M.com with good consistent academic record.
