This is a challenging role for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee quality processes at our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Monitor and control quality processes across production stages from raw material inspection to final product testing.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and customer-specific requirements for electrical panels.
- Drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma and Lean.
- Oversee testing procedures to ensure product reliability and safety.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.
- Maintain accurate quality records and present quality performance metrics to senior management.
- Identify potential quality risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate them.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the electrical panel industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical panel design, manufacturing processes, and testing standards.
- Expertise in QMS, Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in quality tools like FMEA, Pareto charts, and root cause analysis.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software.
