Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Science Professional to work on Geospatial projects. This role will involve working closely with customers to understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions using ESRI products.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business challenges and develop tailored data science solutions.
  • Pitch and deliver data science projects by applying machine learning, advanced analytics techniques, and geospatial analysis.
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality analytics systems that address business problems using data mining, statistics, and machine learning.
  • Develop clean, collaborative, and version-controlled code to process big data and streaming data from various sources and types.
  • Perform feature engineering, model selection, and hyperparameter optimization to achieve high predictive accuracy and deploy models in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.
  • Implement best practices and patterns for geospatial machine learning and create reusable technical components for demonstrations and rapid prototyping.
  • Integrate ArcGIS with popular deep learning libraries such as PyTorch.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in machine and deep learning and incorporate them into project delivery.
  • Support estimation and feasibility for various RFPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or related field with knowledge of RS & GIS.
  • Experience with ESRI products like ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of image analysis and image processing techniques in SAR, Multispectral, and Hyperspectral imagery.
  • Strong communication skills, including non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in Python programming.
  • Willingness to travel and work at client sites in India.

Desirable Skills:

  • 5+ years of practical machine learning experience or applicable academic/lab work.
  • Proven data science and AI skills with Python, PyTorch, and Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Experience in building and optimizing supervised and unsupervised machine learning models, including deep learning and various other modern data science techniques.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: computer vision, convolutional neural networks, transformer models, 3D deep learning, and applied statistics.
