Job Overview:

Manual Tester Job Description

This position is responsible for the manual testing and validation of software products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Analyze product requirements to define acceptance criteria.
  • Design, create, and maintain reusable test scripts.
  • Execute manual testing and review test plans with product management and development teams.
  • Provide estimates on test resources and effort to support prioritization and planning.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using a bug tracking tool.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience in manual testing, preferably in an SEO agency environment.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Participate as a testing resource when required and be an integral part of all releases.
  • Show flexibility and understanding to occasionally work within tight deadlines.
  • Assist with constantly reviewing and evolving processes.
Desired Abilities and Aptitude
  • Experience testing and possession of experience in the development of automated test scripts using Selenium are desired.
  • A successful track record for QA involvement throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is expected.
  • Practical knowledge and experience with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies, accustomed to a fast-paced development-driven environment, are preferred.
