Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Nextracker Inc.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • * Maintaining data integrity and security in our Engineering and management tools by accurately recording and tracking product lifecycle data.
  • * Accurately creating item records, including consistent naming conventions and data fields selections.
  • * Creating change orders with clear summaries and descriptions, linking relevant processes to the items or changes.
  • * Entering data into database systems, including creation of requests and change orders in accordance with company approval and tracking processes.
  • * Resolving integration issues and implementing processes to improve data integrity and efficiency.
  • * Supporting engineering teams with data attributes and architecture.
  • * Minimum 2-3 years of experience in product design and development, preferably with a focus on Data Management and PLM.
  • * Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and PLM tools.
  • * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • * Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and have experience working with CAD software and PLM tools.
