Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Core Java and Rest Assured.

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.

• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

• Analyze test results and report defects to the development team, providing detailed information for troubleshooting and resolution.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application functionalities and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Continuously improve and optimize existing test automation frameworks and practices.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3 to 8 years of experience in test automation using Core Java.

• Strong experience with Rest Assured for API testing.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, Git).

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
