Job Title: Senior Front-End Architect

NetApp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Architect to join our dynamic unified manageability team. This role is pivotal in designing and architecting cutting-edge front-end solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences across our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of innovative and scalable front-end solutions.
  • Utilize expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) to develop high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Work closely with UX Design Office, VPs, senior product managers, and engineering teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure high code quality standards through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and drive the adoption of new tools and practices to enhance the development process.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the robustness and reliability of the front-end architecture.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in front-end development, with at least five years in a design and architecture role.
  • Experience with cloud SaaS websites, storage data management, REST APIs, microservices, and SaaS deployments.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, and other modern frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with VPs, senior product managers, and engineering teams.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A passion for staying current with industry trends and technologies, and a drive to innovate and improve.
