Product Design Specialist Role

The primary responsibility of a Product Design Specialist is to develop technical drawings and documents that effectively communicate product information to customers. This role requires collaboration with international teams in Germany, USA, and China to ensure seamless documentation across different regions.

  • Creation of technical drawings and documents for print media and online documentation.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to standardize documentation processes.
  • Analysis of current documentation processes to propose improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of technical drawings and documents to inform customers about products.

• Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including R&D teams in Germany, USA, and China.

• Management of documentation for both print and digital formats.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CAD systems, specifically SolidEdge.

• Proficiency in PLM systems, including SAP.

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience:

• Confident handling of CAD systems, including SolidEdge.

• Knowledge of DTP systems, such as Framemaker.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working with CAD systems and PLM systems.

• Experience as a technical product designer or illustrator.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Professional Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of experience working with CAD systems and PLM systems.
