Strategic IT Governance Framework Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic IT Governance Framework Specialist to join Brigade Group's team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our organization's technology governance framework.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and standardizing enterprise IT policies, controls, processes, and performance tracking tools. This involves ensuring compliance with corporate requirements, facilitating audits, managing IT-related risks, and driving continuous improvement across our technology governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and standardize enterprise IT related policies and controls, processes, performance tracking and dashboards, technology and tools.
  • Ensure organizations' compliance and its controls' effectiveness to corporate requirements through proper communication, regular practice check and continuous improvements of policies/process in place.
  • Facilitate IT audits and assessments.
  • Managing risks relating to information technology and cyber-security.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in ITGC methodologies, policies, etc. He/she will be the steward of IT policies and methodologies. Practices must align w/ the documented design/policies/process/standards.
  • Coordinates with internal business on IT technology compliance, audit and regulatory enquiries both internal and external. Represents IT from Information Security, recovery and technology risk perspective. Ensures proper analysis and timely findings/responses/mitigation in a consistent and factual manner; establish & follow the escalation or reporting process.
  • Drives IT organizations' performance and proper management of IT initiatives/services through use of tools, facts/data, reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Ensures up-to-date and effective assets/tools or compliance through regular monitoring, analysis, investigation, strengthening and protection of business technological assets, data, etc

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor degree holder in Information Technology or any business technology related field
  • Thought process is organized. Has passion for technical writing, structure, control and governance.
  • Evolved from being a technical IT person to driving IT audit and governance in the organization.
  • Exposed in facets of IT e.g. Projects, Delivery Support, Infrastructure, SW Development, etc.
  • Must have developed and deployed an integrated IT frameworks/methodologies, policies, processes, procedures, and templates
  • Must have introduced efficiency &/or deployed IT tools to operations and projects
  • Must have performed an IT audit or familiar with Information Security, Data Privacy, Information Systems Audit requirements and other IT risk management or due diligence practices

Qualifications:

  • At least 5-6 years relevant experience in Industry standards for IT Governance and controls frameworks e.g. ITIL/ITSM, Project and SW Development, ISO, InfoSec/Data Privacy, among others

This position offers an estimated annual salary of $120,000, commensurate with experience, plus benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
