Job Description:

  1. Collaborate with client and production team members to understand needs, review scripts, design storyboards, and create/edit animations.
  2. Use software and techniques to produce animations.
  3. Listen to feedback and alter animations to suit client needs.
  4. Ensure final product aligns with client needs and is delivered on time.
  5. Read scripts/storylines to understand animation requirements.
  6. Use creativity/artistic techniques to tell stories or provide information visually.
  7. Develop storyboards for initial production stages.
  8. Ensure frame/audio synchronization.
  9. Research industry trends/developments and learn new applications.
  10. Take ownership of projects, outlining creative vision, creating storyboards, and executing design concepts.

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree/certificate in computer animation, fine arts, graphic design, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as an animator.
  3. Knowledge of 2D/3D, stop motion, and computer-generated animation.
  4. Experience in project management.
  5. Creative storyteller with presentation abilities.
  6. Comfortable working with deadlines.
