Senior Infrastructure Test and Validation Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Test and Validation Engineer to lead the Zero-Touch Validation, Upgrade, and Certification automation of our on-prem GPU cloud platform.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented engineer to drive innovation in automated testing and validation, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing automated pipelines for validation and certification across multiple layers, including hardware, OS, Kubernetes, and platform.

In this role, you will integrate Sonobuoy for Kubernetes conformance and certification testing, design and orchestrate chaos engineering workflows using LitmusChaos, and implement performance testing suites using k6 and system-level benchmarks.

You will develop and maintain end-to-end test frameworks using pytest and/or Go, focusing on cluster lifecycle events, upgrade paths, and GPU workloads.

Additionally, you will ensure comprehensive test coverage and validation across multiple dimensions: conformance, performance, fault injection, and post-upgrade validation.

Your expertise will be critical in building and maintaining dashboards and reporting for automated test results, including traceability, drift detection, and compliance tracking.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, SRE, and platform teams to embed testing and validation early in the deployment lifecycle.

This is a leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive quality assurance gates for all automation-driven deployments.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on testing and validation.
  • Expertise in automated testing tools, such as pytest, Go, and k6 scripting.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals.
